Josie is a 5 months old chocolate lab mix. She was hit by a car when she was 3 months old and suffered a ruptured ligament in her left hind knee.

She was just laying there in a kennel at the local animal shelter, not moving at all.

I knew that she was threatened by euthanasia very soon, so I took her home and had her diagnosed by our vet.

With physical therapy and lots of patience her leg has healed and she needs to get spayed very soon.

Josie has the sweetest personality! Her speciality is her Smile. Yes, smile! When she gets excited, she curls up her lips and just smiles at you while her entire bod wiggles like crazy.

Once she is spayed, we hope to find her a good home with other dogs and/or cats!

Josie ist not a pure bred labrador. She will probably stay a little bit smaller than the average lab.

She has a white cross on her chest which makes her look spiritual in a way. After all, she IS a miracle :-).
